About the show
Join us for the 178th Hadleigh Show on Saturday 20th May 2017 A great family day out
This year we are pleased to be welcoming The Devil's Horsemen Cossack Trick Riders to the main ring, whilst our popular machinery demo will show you how your onions are grown locally.
Other ringside entertainment will include The Sheep Show, Vintage Tractors, Young Farmers Tug-o-War, falconry displays, The Dog & Duck Show and Dog Agility by TAG where your dog can also take part.
The Education team are getting “egg-cited” about their new location and will be helping you find out all about chickens and eggs with crafts, demos and art from our local schools.
The Cookery Demonstration area will be back with mouth-watering food prepared and cooked by local chefs, led by Malcolm Long of the Barn at Assington.
Over 160 trade stands will be showcasing their businesses including 42 local producers in the Food Hall. Our 2 catering courts will offer a wide range of tasty food and snacks to suit all the family. The Flower Show, Rural Craft and Art Marquees will, as usual, be filled with a spectacle of colour and talented craftsmen.
Livestock play an important part of our show and with over 150 classes of cattle, sheep, goats and horses it is easy to get up close to these wonderful animals whilst they are judged.
We look forward to welcoming you to our 178th Show
