Tradestands
Visitors come from all over East Anglia, with a strong local presence from Hadleigh and surrounding villages. Now in its 180th year, the Show is a fixture in many families’ diaries. As a result, repeat visitors make up for over 75% of tickets sold online. The show offers trade stands a fantastic opportunity to promote their produce and to sell to members of the public keen to spend.
A well-designed showground ensures a good flow of the public past all trade stands. Many trade stand locations front onto one of the show rings be it for cattle, horses, the countryside ring or the Grand Ring. Sizes of trade stands vary depending on individual business’s requirements. A full list of the trade stands is included in the show programme, as well as here on the website.
The Food Hall is extremely popular with 42 East Anglian producers in 2018. It is consistently one of the busiest marquees in the showground. Members of the public enjoy the enjoy the opportunity to taste and try before buying. In addition, there is a wide range of local caterers in the Food Courts, covering street food to family favourites.
“As a company we have attended over 700 trade shows across the U.K. in the last 10 years. Hadleigh is certainly one of the best one day shows and it’s why we come back year after year. The show is well organised and publicised and draws in not only a big crowd, but high quality customers wishing to spend and have a great day. We love it and I would highly recommend it to visitors and companies alike. What makes this show extra special are the staff and organisers who look so smart on the day and who take such great care of us!”
Adrian Turner, Yum Yum Tree Fudge
“The Hadleigh Show is a great family orientated day out and I have enjoyed attending both as a visitor and as an exhibitor for many years. The friendly atmosphere always makes for a relaxed, fun-packed day. Exhibitors and trade stands offer a wide range of great products with the focus very much on local businesses. As an exhibitor, it is one of our highlights, with visitors always friendly and keen to talk to us about what we do, and very often making a purchase.”
Andrew Cooper, Walnes Seeds
“We always enjoy attending – it’s one of our favourite shows and keeps us very busy!
It’s a fabulous, traditional event which appeals to all ages with lots of attractions and local interesting businesses to explore- making it a great family day out.”
Kelvin Harbutt, Rougham Hall Nurseries
